About me
I am Maxime Carpentier, a tantra therapist based in Brussels.
My interest in this work started from personal experience. For many years, I was focused on personal development and leadership. Over time, this path naturally opened into a more spiritual dimension, not as something separate, but as a deeper way of understanding myself and life.
Around that same period, I also entered a more conscious exploration of my sexuality. This wasn’t always easy, but it became an important part of my journey. It eventually led me to tantra; first as a way to understand myself better, and later as a practice I trained in more deeply.
What began as a personal path gradually became part of my professional life. Alongside my work as an entrepreneur and mentor, I continued to develop myself in tantra and somatic practices. Today, I offer tantra therapy for people who feel the need to reconnect with their body, their boundaries, and their experience of intimacy.
My approach is grounded and straightforward. There is no expectation to perform or achieve anything. We work at your pace, with attention and respect for what is present in the moment. The focus is on creating a space where you can feel safe enough to explore, in a way that integrates both body and mind.
I bring many years of experience in guiding people, but in this work what matters most to me is presence, clarity, and integrity.
I work in English, French, and Dutch.
Outside of my practice, I am a loving father, partner, and adventurer, devoted to living what I share: a life of freedom, connection, and authenticity.
I have completed a one-year training with the Temple of Tantric Arts in Belgium, where I now also assist during retreats.
I also trained in tantra therapy with Lin Holmquist in Sweden, and I continue to support her work as an assistant during retreats.
I wholeheartedly recommend both tantric schools.
I hold a Master of Arts Degree in History from Ghent University and a Master in Science Degree in Entrepreneurship from Rotterdam School of Management.
